Novelis, will serve as an official sponsor for Oswego County Opportunities (OCO) “Giving Thanks” fundraiser. “Novelis is an integral part of our community and we are pleased to welcome them as one of our Silver Level sponsors,” said OCO Fund Development Coordinator Margaret Barclay.

“Giving Thanks” will be held November 1, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the Lake Ontario Convention, Event and Conference Center in Oswego. Proceeds from the evening will support of OCO’s “Sleep Tight” initiative.

“Every child deserves a good night’s sleep,” said OCO Executive Director Diane Cooper-Currier. “Unfortunately for many children in Oswego County, the bed bugs are biting. Our ‘Sleep Tight’ initiative seeks to provide children in need with safe, hygienic bedding and train our staff on how to eradicate bed bugs.”

“Novelis is very appreciative of OCO for all that they do to protect the safety and well-being of people living in Oswego County,” said Plant Communications Lead Katy Brasser. “OCO provides vital programs and resources to our area and we are thrilled to sponsor their ‘Giving Thanks’ event so that they can continue their good work in this community.”

Tickets to OCO’s “Giving Thanks” celebration are $30 per person and include food, refreshments, and beer and wine tastings.
